JAPUJI SAHIB

JAPUJI is a Bani composed by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This

year you will memorize the Mool Mantar, the first Salok and

the first Five Paudis. You need to memorize one or two lines

           line every day.

Japuji Sahib begins with the Mool Mantar. Mool means

'root' or beginning. Mool Mantar describes what God is like.

Even though no one can see God, but Guru Nanak Dev Ji told

us what God may be like.

The next page tells you what each word means. When you go

home today, make sure to tell your parents what each word

means. They will be happy to learn new things from you.
