Reading Fluency: Reading fluency greatly impacts our comprehension of what we read. In
English you are required to read 150 words per minute (wpm). Any less than that will put you
below standard. In Punjabi, your goal is to read at least 150 words per minute. Keep a record of
your reading speed starting from day 1. Write the date when you can read 150 minutes per
minute in every story/essay. Read each piece multiple times to build fluency. By the end of the
year, you should read 150 or more words per minute in Punjabi.

In addition, you will write research reports in Punjabi on three topics of your choice, but on
Sikhi. You can make posters, write essays, poems, make power points or videos of your
projects. Use at least 250-500 words in them. Discuss the topics with your teacher.
