There are no formal Fortinet (CED) and Microsoft server usage statistics provided for each server location. SNS (Solut) staff have indicated that there was no interest at the district or school level in regards to capturing network and software analytics that could be used to monitor and report on services provided across the district. At this point, it is difficult to determine the workflows and usage for the local Microsoft services and the cloud-based Google Apps infrastructure without any usage analytics or data.

SNS (Solut) has indicated that the existing Dell PowerEdge servers are nearing “end of life cycle” and will need to be replaced within the next year to avoid equipment failure that will no longer be covered by the existing hardware agreement with Dell. The server agreement could be extended for another year at a cost of $6,314.70, but anything beyond a year will result in purchasing new hardware if and when server equipment fails.
The Dell PowerEdge server equipment was purchase in the 2013-14 school year and two server warranties have expired to date and the remaining servers are coming up for renewal in July of 2019.
