A free HPV vaccination drive for
boys and girls aged 9 to 26 years
was organized on 26/04/25 at the
Men’s Club, GC Pallipuram, by
RCWA Pallipuram. This event was
conducted as a continuation of the
vaccination drive held on 22/02/25,
in collaboration with KIMS Cancer
Centre, Trivandrum, and Compos-
ite Hospital CRPF Pallipuram.
The drive administered the second
dose to those who received their
first dose on 22/02/25, and the first
dose to those who had not yet been
vaccinated. Both doses were pro-
vided free of cost. The camp was
supervised by doctors from KIMS
and Composite Hospital.
A total of 195 individuals received
the vaccine. As each dose costs Rs.
2,000, vaccines worth approximate-
ly Rs. 3,90,000 were administered
free of charge.
The third dose is given in August,
continuing the provision of free
HPV vaccinations.
