Introduction

Of all the challenges the year 2020 has brought upon us, one of the biggest ones
that was faced by parents was that of teaching their children. Of course, being a
teacher is a tough job, and not only this, but it requires incredible amounts of pa-
tience as well as originality. As a homeschool teacher, it goes without saying that

being inspired enough to come up with tons of new ideas and keeping your kids in-
terested on a daily basis is difficult. This is why this book was created– to give you
all the activities you need for your child (ren) over the course of a 12-week program.
With this book, you’re set for the next three months.

More specifically, we will be looking at forest school activities that you can take up
with your kids over the course of these three months. First looking at what the Early
Years Foundation Stage curriculum consists of and the areas of learning, we will

then briefly look at how forest schooling fits into this scheme. We will then move to
the 12-week program. On that note, let’s get started!
