Every child loves to listen to an old tale
Sitting wide eyed catching every word without fail.
Spell binding are the words that spark their imagination
Build a good vocabulary and foster creation.

Lost its glory to gadgets smart
Gone are the days when people had time
Would sit for long and like the cuckoo chime
Stories each grandma told had lasting impressions
The morals showed light to many generations.
The story transported the children to lands of wonder
Introduced them to various caste creed and gender.
In the hurry and flurry of the rushing hours
Wish every parent could tap their own super powers
spin a precious yarn of here, there and every where
Let the children learn to hear, think, compare and be aware
