BYLAWS

RED DOOR HOUSING SOCIETY

Article 1 - INTERPRETATION

(a) In these Bylaws, unless the context otherwise specifies or requires:

(i) “ACT ” means the Societies Act of the Province of British Columbia, as

from time to time amended and every statute that may be substituted
therefore and in the case of such amendment or substitution any refer-
ence in the Bylaws of the Society shall be read as referring to the

amended or substituted provisions therefore.

(ii) “BOARD” means the board of Directors of the Society constituted as pro-
vided in Article 4.

(iii) “BYLAW” means any Bylaw of the Society from time to time in force and

effect.

(iv) “DIRECTOR” means a member of the Board

(v) “SOCIETY’ means Red Door Housing Society

(b) In constructing these Bylaws reference shall be had to the Act and words and
expressions used in these Bylaws shall, so far as the context does not

otherwise require, have the same meaning ,as would be the case when
used in the Act.
