Chairman Kashmir Committee Mr. Shehryar
Afridi addressed the seminar which was also
attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar
Zaidi. Speaking on the occasion, Shehryar
Afridi highlighted the importance of this
month in Islam. He said Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) is a role model for the Muslims,
adding that it is only by following his
teachings one can become a true human
being and bring reforms in the society by
eradicating social ills and immoral activities.
He said the Jews despite being small in
number, had criminalized the denial of
Holocaust in some countries because it hurt
them. He highlighted need to make the
Western world understand that the Muslims
get hurt the most and could not tolerate any
kind of disrespect of Holy Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
