YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your institution or students are responsible for:
- International airfare
- Hotel/hostel extras outside the standard room rate
- Meals not provided by the program
- Cell phones and local SIM cards for students and faculty. Participants and faculty must be able to receive local calls
and texts.
- Passport and visa fees
- Independent activities on free days
- Transcript services

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Student safety is a top priority. Count on our dedicated, global student Health and Wellness Team to collaborate with you
and provide advice for your specific health, safety, and security needs, before and during your journey. IFSA provides:

- Adherence to the health, safety, security, and risk management guidelines and best practices as established by
NAFSA and the Forum on Education Abroad, and based on consultation with government agencies, private sector
resources, and other safety and security professionals in international education.
- Continual assessment of worldwide security, based on government reports and trusted international news outlets.
- 24/7 international communication to ensure proper support and care in the event of an emergency.
- Talented, experienced resident staff in the Czech Republic, including a full-time resident director and support staff
who can navigate medical systems, emergency services, insurance, and support resources. Resident staff are trained
in emergency response and student affairs, and can meet to discuss concerns, refer you to support services, and
provide emergency assistance.
- Comprehensive CISI Insurance coverage
- A detailed health and safety guide
- On-site orientation

Our experienced Prague team
Led by Resident Director Jana ?alská, our program center in Prague, is at the Central and East European Law Initiative
Institute in the historic Villa Grébovka building. We arrange additional support through our affiliation with Prague College,
one of the Czech Republic?s leading private institutions.
