Dissolved Phase Treatment (In Situ)

            Gas Infusion

Gas Infusion is a mass transfer operation whereby sparingly soluble gases are dissolved into liquids (in-
Situ and ex-Situ). The efficiency of this process creates stable liquid streams containing enormous
quantities of dissolved gas on scales ranging from cc/min to thousands of GPM. And, we produce these
enormous levels of dissolved gas at a fraction of the energy cost of any other process.

Prosper Environmental is the exclusive owner of the gas infusion technology that has been used
throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. Our gas infusion products are based on the
worldwide-patented Gas Infusion Technology that allows for supersaturated levels of dissolved gas into
liquids. This proven technology is focused on the bioremediation and natural attenuation of hydrocarbons
and chlorinated hydrocarbons. However, since any miscible gas can be dissolved into water, we can treat
many other groundwater contaminants; These include vinyl chloride, liberated metals, nitrates,
            perchlorates and 1,4 Dioxane.

            ISOC ®

The ISOC® is the first generation of gas infusion devices to target the dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon
market. Filled with proprietary micro-porous hollow fibers, the ISOC® provides an enormous surface area
for the efficient transfer of oxygen from the gas cylinder to the groundwater.

In an aerobic bioremediation application, the ISOC® supersaturates the treatment well with low decay
dissolved oxygen (DO), typically 40-200 PPM depending on the immersion depth of the ISOC® in
groundwater. A natural convection current and a designed release of bubbles from the top of the ISOC®
fills the well with uniform DO. The supersaturated DO curtain disperses around the well and into the
adjacent groundwater forming an enhanced bioremediation treatment zone to remove target
contaminants. Placement of injection wells depends on site specific conditions and treatment objectives.
