At 10 min: Transfer the second load (1 ml bacterial suspension) to disinfectant

• Transfer 0.02 ml of the disinfectant/culture mixture to 9ml of sterile n.

At 20 min: Transfer the third load (1 ml bacterial suspension) to disinfectant tube

• Transfer 0.02 ml of the disinfectant/culture mixture to 9ml of sterile n.

broth in five replicates after 8 min (duration 28 min).

3. Repeat the same steps for the other concentrations

4. Incubate all tubes at 37 ̊C for 48 h.

5. all the tubes were examined for growth (turbidity) or no growth. Tubes showing

growth were scored positive (+) while those without evidence of growth were

score negative (-).
