Mike Baughman is the Founding Pastor & Executive Director for Union Coffee, a new church start in Dallas, TX, that is primarily in ministry with emerging leaders under thirty-five years of age. He is the primary author for Flipping Church: How Successful Church Planters are Turning Conventional Wisdom Upside-Down. Baughman has contributed to, developed, and edited a long list of curricula for Sparkhouse Press and Cokesbury. He serves on the Board of Directors for Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation as well as Bishop Arts Theatre Center.
Baughman is a third-generation United Methodist pastor married to a sixth-generation United Methodist pastor, named Rachel Baughman. None of their children are named Wesley.
Lyndsey Godwin brings over a decade of experience in anti-oppression training, program design, and coaching. She specializes in sexuality education, including Christian approaches to holistic sexuality, decision making, consent, gender, and LGBTQI+ experiences. Using practical, learner-centered approaches, Godwin partners with organizers, artists, academics, faith leaders, and educators to develop programs that invite all to get more comfortable with discomfort in order to act prophetically. Godwin is the Assistant Director of the Carpenter Program in
Religion, Gender, and Sexuality at Vanderbilt Divinity School; serves as the Secretary for the SisterSong Board of Directors; and was one of the founding directors and board members for Nashville Launch Pad, a safe-sleeping shelter for youth ages 18–24.
