The following sections show two ways to organize a formal report: the traditional approach and

               an alternative approach

3.3.1 Traditional Arrangement of Report Parts
               Traditional Arrangement of Report Parts

The traditional arrangement of report parts refers to the standard structure used when writing

formal reports. This structure helps organize information clearly and logically, making it easier for

               readers to understand the content.

Reports are commonly used in business, academic, scientific, and technical fields. Following a

traditional format ensures professionalism, clarity, and completeness.

Main Parts of a Traditional Report

A formal report is usually divided into three main sections:

                   1. Front Matter (Preliminary Parts)

                   2. Body (Main Text)

                   3. Back Matter (Supplementary Parts)

               1. Front Matter (Preliminary Parts)

This section comes at the beginning of the report and provides basic information about it.
