RECREATION AND PARK
DESIGN
Krubong Landfill, Melaka
The course of Recreation and Park Design emphasis on
developing the student’s ability to plan and design
recreational parks. Students are expected to understand
the theory of designing and planning recreational parks
for communal use in accordance to the planning criteria,
hierarchy and needs of a park while addressing the local
cultural values and the application of park management.
STUDIO PROJECT
Worldwide Landfill Park, CONTRIBUTION
Air Hitam, Puchong.
The project of this studio was conducted in Krubong
Landfill, Melaka. The objective of this studio is to
transform a landfill area to a recreational park by
using the ecological design to solve the site issues such
as leachate water problems and water contamination
issues.
