RICK LIEBER – Chief Risk Officer
As chief risk officer, Rick is responsible for AAG’s enterprise risk functions, including compliance, licensing, exam coordination,
and quality control. His focus is to ensure AAG has an effective risk and control environment that can scale as the company
grows. Before joining AAG in June 2017, Rick was the senior vice president of enterprise risk management for OneWest Bank
and held similar executive roles for other leading financial institutions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics
from UC Santa Barbara and a MBA degree from the NYU’s Stern School of Business.
JULES VOGEL – Chief Legal Officer
As chief legal officer, Jules oversees AAG’s legal department, enterprise risk management department, and the internal
audit department. He also leads AAG Residential Services, a California-licensed real estate brokerage subsidiary of AAG
established in August 2017. Before joining AAG in 2016, Jules served on the executive teams at IndyMac, OneWest, and its
reverse mortgage servicing division, Financial Freedom. Jules has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College in
Claremont, California, and a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University, School of Law in New York.
JESSE Q. ALLEN – Executive Vice President, Alternative Distribution
As executive vice president of alternative distribution, Jesse is accountable for vision, strategy, and execution for AAG’s
national field sales and wholesale mortgage originations business. Jesse has 30 years of mortgage, consumer, and business
banking experience. Before joining AAG in September 2016, he was SVP of sales enablement and execution for Bank of
America’s home loans retail sales division. He also helmed its reverse mortgage platform. Jesse earned his Bachelor of
Business Administration from Pace University in New York.
REBECCA PACILLAS – Chief People Officer
As chief people officer, Rebecca is responsible for the strategic planning, leadership, and operational management of
all human resources, including talent acquisition, learning and development, benefits, and performance management.
Rebecca has more than 20 years of human resources experience. Before joining AAG in November 2012, she directed
the HR function at RMA Land Construction. Rebecca studied human resources management at University of California,
Riverside.
KIMBERLY SMITH – Senior Vice President, Wholesale
As senior vice president of wholesale lending, Kim is responsible for the production and growth of AAG’s wholesale
division. Before joining AAG in January 2013, Kim served as executive vice president of sales at Generation Mortgage.
She began her reverse mortgage career in 2004 with Financial Freedom. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from California State University, San Luis Obispo.
JOE STEPHENSON – Senior Vice President, Operations
As senior vice president of operations, Joe oversees loan fulfillment for all AAG sales channels, including the retail call
center, national field sales division, and wholesale division. He is focused on optimizing operations and capitalizing
on synergies throughout the business to further help AAG grow. Before joining AAG, he served as head of mortgage
operations for Morgan Stanley and chief operating officer for Bank of America’s reverse mortgage business. Joe earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Salisbury University Perdue School of Business.
