for the prizes and money, an exhibitor must show in both (2) go rounds (8 judges). $500 will be added, winner takes all based on scores in the shootout round only. Awards to the high scoring Amateur and Youth exhibitors in the shootout round. There is no entry fee for the event. Shootout will be held Saturday night prior to the roping futurity.
ROD PATRICK BOOT DRAWING:
One (1) pair of custom made Rod Patrick Boots will be given away by random drawing in the Open and Amateur performance halter classes (Mares, Geldings, Stallions) each day shown. Each entry in the class will receive a ticket at the gate as they enter the class. The ticket number will be announced just prior to the announcer reading the placing of the class. Exhibitor must claim their prize in the arena. Once a back number wins a pair of boots, they are no longer eligible for the drawing.
**To qualify for circuit class awards, you must show in the respective class ALL EIGHT SHOWS (judges) in the associated division, i.e. youth, open or amateur. Points toward circuit class awards will be counted on all eight shows. To be eligible for any award, you must have a qual- ified time, score or placing in at least 1 of the shows and meet all other requirements. You are not limited to the number of awards that you can win.
CHAMPION CIRCUIT AWARD FOR EVERY CLASS OFFERED: Custom made belt buckle awarded in the open, amateur, select, level 1 (novice) youth, rookie youth, level 1 (novice) ama- teur, level 1 (novice) select, rookie amateur, level 1 (green) open and walk / trot divisions. Schooling classes do not qualify for award. Lead-line participants receive a special award.
RESERVE CHAMPION AWARD: Custom Jackets awarded in the open, amateur, select, level 1 (novice) youth, rookie youth, level 1 (novice) amateur, level 1 (novice) select, rookie amateur, level 1 (green) open and walk / trot divisions. Lead-line participants receive a special award.
OQHA WALK / TROT DIVISION RULES:
To participate in the OQHA walk / trot classes, an exhibitor may not enter a walk/trot/lope class at Oregon Summer Classic. Limited to exhibitors 10 and under in age. Age determined as of January 1. Open to any breed, not AQHA approved. Circuit champion buckles and reserve jack- ets given. High point awards will be award to the exhibitor / horse who accumulate the most points in walk / trot classes.
OREGON MEMBER AWARDS:
To qualify for Oregon Quarter Horse Member awards, you must have been a paid member by April 1st to be eligible.
