Materials: 2 Pentomino sets, Pentomino activity board
Make a low-rise building by placing pentominoes to cover as little space
as possible. Let’s make a lower-rise building that has fewer floors than the
other player by using the same number of pentomino pieces.
Puzzles 1. Each player takes one pentomino set.
2. Place the activity board in the middle. The two players face each other.
3. Each player selects seven pentomino pieces and swaps them with the other player.
4. Each player starts placing the pentomino pieces from the first row of the activity
board in front of him/her using the pieces given by the other player to make a
low-rise building.
5. The player who makes a building with fewer floors wins.
