Finding Common Multiples of a Number
Students who have learned to count by different numbers will find the concept of multiples to be intuitive.
The multiples of a number x are simply all those numbers which, when divided by x, result in an integer
value. The common multiples between two numbers are all those numbers which, when divided by either of
them, result in integer values. The least common multiple is the lowest possible multiple, which when
divided by either number results in an integer value for both terms (though not necessarily the same integer
value).
