Materials: 64 Number Cards (0-9), Making 5 and 15 activity sheet
Let’s find two numbers that make the sum or difference is 5 or 15.
Arith. 1. Shuffle sixty-four number cards face down and stack them aside.
Match 2. Decide who will go first. Take turns selecting the cards one by one and placing them
face up followed by the arrows from 1 on the activity sheet.
3. The player who finds two cards that make the sum or difference is 5 or 15, says
his/her name and takes the cards. The player takes all the cards below them. If the
player says his/her name after miscalculating, gives one his/her card to the other
player.

2+3=5 72=5 9 + 6 = 15
4. After taking the cards, the next player places the card in the empty space first.
5. Play until there is no card left. The player who collects more cards wins.
