4 Three farmers each own a piece of land that is in the shape of a
quadrilateral. Each of the sums of the lengths of the diagonals is 30 m.
Each farmer brags that his piece of land is the biggest. Read the
following conversation and determine who has the biggest piece of
land.
Kevin: The length of one of the diagonals of my land is 20 m. Isn t my
land broad?
Mike: The lengths of the diagonals of my land are 14 m and 16 m, and
they are perpendicular.
John: The diagonals of my land are not perpendicular, but the length of
one diagonal is 16 m, so my land is also very big.
