3 Two players each choose stones of color (black or white) to move
according to the rules below. If a player moves a black stone, think of a
strategy that will ensure that this player wins.
Rules
1. Black stones can only be moved to the right, and white stones can only
be moved to the left.
2. Each player may move one stone any number of spaces per turn. The
player who can no longer move the stones loses. (Note that the stones
cannot pass through any other stone.)
4 Two player take turns drawing straight lines between two points on the
circle below. The lines may not meet inside the circle, but they may
meet at the points along the circle. Who will always win: the first or the
second player?
