Factors and multiples
Factor is a number that is multiplied by another number to find a
product. Let’s learn the factors in division.
Materials: 2 Mini-calculation boards, 2 White number chip sets (1-9),
Operation chip (÷), Multiplication number chips ( )
1 Put two mini-calculation boards side by side and prepare white number
chips, operation chip (÷), and multiplication number chips ( ).
2 Place the white number chips in order from 1 to 9 in the first row and
place the white number chips in order from 4, 6, 8, and 9 in the first
column. Then place the operation chip (÷) where the two lines are
intersect.
