Description: An arch-shaped rock on the mainland coast

Square Point
Coordinates: 27.36 S; 15.324 E
Description: A mainland site at the northern end of Van
Reenen Bay. Kelp Gulls nested on a small, 40 m high cliff
that forms the seaward extremity of Square Point, on a
peninsula at Leopard Cove 1 km farther north and on a
stack in that cove (Shaughnessy and Shaughnessy 1976).
Crowned Cormorants nested on both sides of a 40 m high,
near vertical promontory about 50 m east of the cliff on
which Kelp Gulls nested (Shaughnessy and Shaughnessy
1978).
Conservation status: It is in TKNP and has restricted
access.
