                  Asexual spores

                  Sporagiospores:

These are non-motile spores produced inside

structures called sporangia in fungi such as Rhizopus

and Mucor. These spores are dispersed by wind.

                  Conidia

These are non-motile spores produced singly or in chains at the

tip of the hypha branches that are called conidiophores. Such

spores are produced in fungi like Aspergillus and Penicillium.

                  Chlamydospores

Thick-walled spore formed as segments within hyphae or at
hyphal tips such as Candida albican

                  Arthrospores

Fragmentation of septate hyphae into single, thickened

                  cells such as Coccidioides immitis
