12 Remove the loop and close the Petri dish. Flame the loop to sterilize.
13 • Touch the loop to the agar surface (again)

to cool it down.

• Then create the second streaks following
the pattern below. Be sure to pass the loop
through the original (1 ) streaks 3-5 times

14 • Sterilize the inoculating loop again.

pattern below. Be sure to pass the loop

15 Flame your loop once more. Streaked plate

are incubated at 37°C for 24 hours
