To Infinity and Beyond
We always talk about the ways in which Federation events, meetings, friends and fellowship impact our members. Lately, we have also begun hearing of ways in which family members have also been influenced by a new friend they met, an old friendship they have rekindled or meeting they have attended.
That all came true for Milly Davis, the quintessential daughter of FDCC Defense Counsel and ADTA President-Elect Evelyn Fletcher Davis of Hawkins Parnell & Young,
LLP in Atlanta, GA. Milly attended the 2021 Annual Meeting at The Greenbrier with her Mom and was so inspired by Keynote Speaker Nicole Stott that she not only shared with all her friends the personal meeting she had with the Astronaut, but also dressed up like her for Halloween. The resemblance is striking.
As Evelyn shared with us, “I cannot believe that an FDCC Speaker
could impact our children in such profound ways, but this was a truly amazing member benefit to see in action!”
We have no doubt that Milly will one day join NASA’s Astronauts Corps, and that we will one day see her circling the Earth or perhaps even be the first to set foot on Mars!
