Headquarters, and in reflecting upon how we are viewing the Federation’s future, the acronym for “Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited” immediately came to mind. The term is used by aviators to denote ideal flying conditions. From our vantage point, and despite the present and future challenges that we may encounter, there are simply no limitations or obstructions to the ongoing implementation of our strategic plan and daily operational activities. What a year! Just when we thought that the worst was behind us, a new variant of the virus appeared together with speculation that we may just
matter experts to keep us “above and beyond”.
Notwithstanding the challenges imposed by the pandemic, the
work of the Federation continued
to move forward with the tremendous support of our Board of Directors, Substantive Law Section and Committee leaders and other volunteers. We challenged conventional wisdom and adopted a new paradigm of merging in- person meetings and virtual connectivity interwoven with the various threads of commonality and interests that bring all of us together. We’d like to give you an update from Headquarters on just what we have
have to get used to these mutations while doing whatever we can to keep ourselves – and our family
and one another – safe and healthy. We trust that you and your family enjoyed the holidays and are eager to approach the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
