The Membership Communication
Committee (“MCC”) is actively
generating content for FDCC’s
members. Most of the material is
through podcasts. Our work falls
into three general categories.
First, We Deliver Substantive
Information On Substantive Issues
That Our Members Face.
We’ve continued our popular in-
house roundtables where we talk
about issues affecting our in-house
members such as privilege, cost
control, and vendor management.
Roundtables are limited to in-house
members to ensure confidentiality
and promote candor.
We also address other emerging
legal issues. The MCC’s Products
Section and Artificial Intelligence
Task Force are leading series in
this regard. We are inviting other
sections to propose programs.
Much Of Our Work Concerns The
Administration Of The FDCC.
Our President’s theme for the year is
“Finding Your Place In The FDCC.”
The MCC has recorded podcasts
on this topic to assist the members
in determining how
they can flourish in the
FDCC.
We’ve continued our series of
new member podcasts. Every
new member is invited to record
a podcast, and most accept the
invitation. Once recorded, new
members can post the podcast
on their social media and other
platforms.
We work with the Flyer’s leaders to
prepare this publication.
We Have Developed Engaging
Programs To Promote The Personal
Well-Being Of FDCC’s Members.
The MCC is proud to introduce its
latest series entitled “Life de Novo.”
This particular series interviews
prominent individuals on the
issues of recovery from substance
dependencies.
The MCC is constantly striving to
improve the content it offers to
FDCC’s members and invite you
to propose new ideas or topics that
you would like for us to showcase.
Most of all, the MCC invites your
participation, as both producers
and listeners.
The MCC is co-chaired by Alan Rutkin and
Valerie Kellner. Alan Rutkin is a Partner in
Rivkin Radler LLP’s New York, NY office
and is a member of the FDCC’s Board of
