members at various phases of the
members’ lives, and the acceptance
by the FDCC of those phases is one
of the ways that the organization
deepens its connection and
support of its members. Social
media engagement will foster the
education of the FDCC community
and its’ members audience of this
unique attribute and its authentic
support of its members. Looking
at this purpose a step further,
social media will also allow a
members’ social media audience
to stay tied into the members’
experience with the organization,
show their support of the great
things that the member is a part
of, and raise potential for further
engagement in the FDCC by a
members’ related contacts, who
may be an exceptional defense
counsel or industry thought leader
not presently associated with the
FDCC.
Solidify Organizational
Community Bonds
The FDCC communicates its
organizational “WHY” as being
an “inspired community of vetted
defense counsel, exceptional
leaders and even better people.”
A key benefit of membership
with the FDCC is the networking
opportunity within every part of the
organization with its great people.
Building a social media network will
encourage members to strengthen
their connections and engage with
one another outside of formal
FDCC events resulting in deepened,
genuine connections across
its members. Positive network
relationships that can carry over not
only into the professional, but also
the personal, daily-life spectrum
are relationships that can last and
stay top-of-mind for support or
assistance when needed, buffering
the members’ referral network and
collaboration in life’s success.
The expansion of outreach by the
FDCC, through the newly formed
Social Media Committee, is exciting
and brings fantastic opportunity
for growing and fortifying its
membership community. Stay
tuned to the FDCC social media
platforms for the next great
“buzzworthy” communication.
