Toc H Institute of Science and Technology is a premier self financing

college in Kerala providing B.Tech Safety and Fire Engineering

course. Objective of the department is to mould the students who can
excel in major areas related to protection of people, property and

environment. The curriculum provides knowledge in Process safety

management, Fluid mechanics, Strength of materials, Safety in

construction, Fire protection engineering, Industrial Hygiene,
Occupational health and first aid, Hazard identification and Risk

Assessment, Disaster Management etc.

On successful completion of this course, students are able to work in

various industries like Petrochemical, Oil Refineries, Chemical

Process, Construction, Ship Building, Textile, Mining, Steel, Cement,

Paper, Manufacturing, Power plants, Aerospace, Defence, Fertilizer,
Oil and Natural gas etc., and they can meticously carry out the

following; Hazard identification and Risk assessment, Workplace

inspection, Accident investigation, Design of fire prevention system,
Safety training and coaching, Emergency planning, and they are also

able to monitor workplace activities, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions.

Our Alumni's are working in various reputed organizations like
BPCL,TATA,Cherytech,ShapoorjiPallonji,NPCIL, Aditya Birla, Gulfar

Al Misnad Qatar, HIL, Elion Technologies and Consultancy. The

Alumni carries the legacy of the department.
