Force-on-Force

Purpose - Recreational Environment

• Force-on-Force in a recreational environment is essentially what has evolved form early paint
ball games. The objective is solely recreation as its a game and there is no training objective.

• Equipment used in professional recreational force-on-force is often referred to as AirSoft.

AirSoft Weapons

• AirSoft weapons are replicas of real weapons, they are inexpensive as compared to professional NLTA
weapons. They are not regulated or controlled and can be purchased on-line for as little as $25.00 as
opposed to $700.00+ for one (1) Glock 17-T NLTA pistol.

• 350 FPS is the maximum acceptable ammunition FPS for scenario based force-on-force training, Most
AirSoft weapons are compliant, however some AirSoft weapons can be purchased with an adjustable
FPS with settings as high as 450 FPS. These settings should only be used for force-on-target or for
training or target practice on paper targets. In the event using FPS the above 350 with AirSoft against
humans can be catastrophic.
