Medication usage will decline, especially for laxatives and appetite stimulating drugs but also multivitamin usage will decline as intake percentages increase, providing nutrients in food form. Neighborhood kitchens and household kitchens will virtually eliminate laxatives, using food sources instead to support normal bowel function.
Clinical outcomes will improve, and all conditions with a nutrition and hydration related outcome will decline in frequency and severity. From pressure ulcers to urinary tract infections, expect a decline in the costs of clinical treatments due to the preventive therapy of good nutrition and good hydration.
