When a person needs more companionship, you might think of it as needing a little
extra tender loving care. Here is where new and old, household and institution meet. Traditionally, we have referred to this as a one-to-one program. Maybe we would not call it a program at all, but refer to it as staff working to create opportunities for more companionship.
