Holidays
Holidays can invigorate our daily lives by presenting a very special detour from the norm with traditions, foods, decorations and so much more. Each holiday has its own particular custom observed, whether it is searching for eggs, hanging candy canes or pinching someone for not wearing green.
What are the activities and traditions surrounding each holiday? Ask your fellow householders. There are bound to be many held in common and new ones to discover. Learning the ethnic holidays and associated events observed by others is something special you can do within a household. For instance, exploring and then celebrating St. Lucia Day honors your Swedish householders while giving your non-Swedish folks a chance to learn a little about Sweden and its culture.
