2.6.1  Machine learning Prediction Algorithms




                                Different machine learning algorithms can be applied to make predictions in
                                many fields. Here are some examples of algorithm that can be use.


                                i.     Support Vector Machine (SVM)


                                      SVM  is  a  supervised  learning  technique  that  can  be  applied  to

                                      regression or classification tasks. It operates by identifying the most

                                      effective hyperplane for classifying the data (Uddin et al., 2019). SVM
                                      has been successfully used in a number of fields of study, including

                                      dengue analysis, water quality index prediction, cancer genomics, and
                                      soil quality enhancement. SVM has become a standard tool in machine

                                      learning  and  data  mining  because  it  can  offer  the  best  learning

                                      capability.  Figure  2.9  shows  an  example  of  how  SVM  algorithms
                                      classify individuals as having diabetes or not based on abstract data.
