2.5 Machine Learning

Machine learning is a field of artificial intelligence, which focuses on the
creation of algorithms and models to allow computers to learn how to predict

or decide without being explicitly programmed (Punia et al., 2021). This
involves studying how computational methods and statistical models allow

computer systems to be able to learn from data, analyse them, figure out
patterns or make informed decisions.
