Web Filtering by Category
The Web Filtering service automatically sorts hundreds of millions of web pages into a wide range of categories. You can allow, block, and monitor any Category using the Web Portal. Blocked pages are replaced with a message indicating that the page is not accessible according to the Internet usage policy.
To check a speci c URL category, you can insert the URL on fortiguard.com/web lter Blocking a Category or Sub-Category
To block a category of websites, go to Web Filtering Pro le then right click on a pro le in the main pane list and select Edit.
Click the check box to the correlating Fortiguard Category you would like to take action on, then right click anywhere in the categories section to select allow, block, warning, disable, or monitoring activity.
Click Save to save change(s) made and then Install in the Installation tab.
