Centipede
Period: Cretaceous
Age: 100 million years
Region: Burma
These creatures, some of which are poisonous, are generally to be found in rural and woo-
ded areas all over the world. They belong to the class Chilopoda from the phylum Myriapoda
and have never altered in any way from the day they were created to the present. The 100-
million-year-old fossil centipede in the picture is proof that these animals never evolved.
