Scelionid wasps generally live beneath fallen lea-
ves. These wasps are known for the damage they
do to other species of insect, especially their eggs.
There is no difference between the 50-million-ye-
ar-old fossil Scelionid wasp in the photo and pre-
sent-day specimens.
