thought in your heart. For I see that you are full of bitterness
and captive to sin." (Acts, 8:21-23)
... Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God
[God's commandments]. "The time has come," he said. "... [The
day of judgment] is near. Repent and believe the Good News
[God's commandments]!" (Mark, 1:14-15)
In those days John came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and
saying, "Repent, for... [the Day of Judgment] is near."
(Matthew, 3:1-2)
And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be
kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who op-
pose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will
grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the
truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from
the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you re-
pent, you too will all perish." (Luke, 13:4-5)

all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."
