Pleasant Words from the Gospel

... The twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones be-
fore God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: "We give
thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One Who is and Who was,

because you have taken Your great power and have begun to
                   reign." (Revelation, 11:16-17)

... They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped
God saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and
honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.
                   Amen!" (Revelation, 7:11)

                                         in the Gospel

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up,
left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
                   (Mark, 1:35)

After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by
himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.
                   (Matthew, 14:23)

One of those days Jesus went out
to a mountainside to pray, and
                   spent the night praying to
                   God. (Luke, 6:12)
