situation that each side wants to end soon. The guest is sorry for
having come, and the host is sorry for having provided the food

and wasted his time.
In conclusion, it is only by practicing the teachings of the
Qur'an and emulating the noble and generous behaviour of the last
Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the be-
haviour of the right-acting Muslims right down to our own day that
fine conversation and hospitality, unity and cooperation can grow
among people.
