but fear your God. I am the Lord. Do not pervert justice; do not
show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your
                     neighbor fairly. (Leviticus 19:14-15)
He [a righteous man] does not oppress anyone, but returns what he
took in pledge for a loan. He does not commit robbery, but gives his
food to the hungry and provides clothing for the naked. He does not
lend at usury. He withholds his hand from doing wrong, and judges
fairly between man and man. (Ezekiel 18:7-8)

                                RESPECTING PARENTS

Your Lord has decreed that you should worship none but
Him and that you should show kindness to your parents.
Whether one or both of them reach old age with you, do
not say "Ugh!" to them out of irritation and do not be
harsh with them, but speak to them with gentleness and
generosity. Take them under your wing, out of mercy,
with due humility and say: "Lord, show mercy to them as
they did in looking after me when I was small." (Surat al-
                     Isra', 23-24)

                     Gospel

Honor your father and mother. (Luke 18:20; Matthew 19:19)
