BELIEVERS FROM SEEKING ALLAH'S GOOD

PLEASURE

[They are] not distracted by trade or commerce from the
remembrance of Allah, the establishment of prayer, and
the payment of alms; fearing a day when all hearts and
eyes will be in turmoil. (Surat an-Nur, 37)

Gospel
... It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of
God in order to wait on tables. (Acts 6:2)

TO BE WITH BELIEVERS

Restrain yourself patiently with those who call on their
Lord morning and evening, desiring His face. Do not turn
your eyes from them, desiring the attractions of this
world. And do not obey someone whose heart We have
made neglectful of Our remembrance, who follows his
own whims and desires, and whose life has transgressed
all bounds. (Surat al-Kahf, 28)
