existed for hundreds of millions of years, should long
since have turned into other marine life forms, and even
into terrestrial animals. But no such transition ever happe-
ned. These life forms, which have existed as starfish for
the last 430 million years, demolish all claims of the theory
of evolution about the origin of life.
