Consequently, the years that we are living in right now are highly suit-
able for the danger of communism to once more reassert an effective
place in world politics. Most of the communist parties regard the eco-
nomic crisis as an opportunity to drag their countries into the commu-
nist swamp.
The capitalist system eventually gave the communists the opportunity they had been
waiting for in 2007. With the global economic crisis, various groups criticized the sys-
tem under the slogan "Occupy Wall Street" and began giving the message that com-
munism is the only solution. Communist sympathizers poured onto the streets with
posters of Ernesto "Che" Guevara in their hands and began shouting slogans about
the only solution lying in communism.
