The Characteristics of Hazrat Mahdi
(pbuh)in the Torah and Other
Judaic Scriptures
Righteousness will be his [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] belt, and faith-
fulness the sash around his waist. (Isaiah, 11:5)
With righteousness shall he [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] judge the
poor, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the
earth... (Isaiah, 11:4)
He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will strike the earth with the rod of
his mouth [he will influence with his words without having a
weapon]; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked [he will
make them spiritually ineffective by his speech.] (Isaiah, 11:4)
He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will [then] correct the entire world to
serve God together, as is written: "For then I shall turn to the na-
tions a pure tongue, that all shall call upon the name of God to serve
Him shoulder to shoulder." [Zephaniah, 3:9] (Maimonides, Mish-
nah Torah, Laws of Kings 11:4)
"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord
Almighty. (Zechariah, 4:6)
See, My servant [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will act wisely; he will
be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. (Isaiah, 52:13)
He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] was given authority, glory and sovereign
power. All the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass
away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
