the Psalms and the Gospel
[God is beyond that] nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking
became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they
claimed to be wise, they became fools. and exchanged the glory of
the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal
human being and birds and animals and reptiles... They ex-
changed the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served
created things [God is beyond that] rather than the Creator—
Who is forever praised. Amen. (Romans, 1:21-25)
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound
doctrine. Instead...they will gather around them a great num-
ber of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (2
Timothy, 4:3-4)
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People
will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud,
abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,
brutal, not lovers of the good, There will be... in the last days
treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than
lovers of God—having a form of godliness, but denying its
power. Have nothing to do with them. (2 Timothy, 3:1-5)

account of my name [the name of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)]... You
will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and
friends, and they will put some of you to death. All men will
hate you because of me [the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)]... By standing
firm, you will gain life. [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and his followers will
be similarly oppressed.] (Luke, 21:12, 16, 17, 19)
When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These
