ETERNITY HAS ALREADY BEGUN

Rays of light coming from an object fall upside-down on the retina as seen in
the above picture. Here, the image is converted into electrical signals and
transmitted to the center of vision at the back of the brain. The center of vi-
sion is a very tiny place. Since the brain is insulated from light, it is impossi-
ble for light to reach the center of vision. This means that we view a vast world
of light and depth in a tiny spot that is insulated from light. Even at the mo-
ment when we feel the light and heat of a fire, the inside of our brain is pitch
dark and its temperature never changes.
