The struggle between good and evil began at the time of the Prophet Adam

(pbuh) and will continue until the Final Hour. In every period of history, there has
been an immense negative force pushing people toward evil and denial, which is

called the 'antichrist'. All kinds of ideologies that detract people from the tenets of

religion and instigate mischief and confusion represent the 'antichrist'. The Divine

power against evil, which defuses the antichrist's mischief and brings people to the

true path, is called 'the system of Mahdi'.

This struggle between good and evil, between satan and God, has persisted

since the early ages. The struggle between the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and Nimrod,

and also the Prophet Moses (pbuh) and Pharaoh are the most known instances in

history for recurring 'Antichrist - Mahdi struggles'. In our time, which is known

as 'End Times', this struggle happens between the Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the

antichrist. As throughout history, 'Hypocrites are again the biggest force of the

antichrist in the End Times. The antichrist is allied with satan, evil, unbelievers

and hypocrites, and the bitter struggle against the system of Mahdi continue with

forces at its command.
